Issue 9: Takayama
The Olympics may be over but I'm still thinking about Japan. This week we are travelling to Takayama in Japan. Takayama is a city in the mountainous Hida region of Gifu Prefecture. We rented a car and drove around the region but you can also take a train from Tokyo to Nagoya and then transfer to another train to Takayama. We drank more sake here than hot chocolate (Takayama is known for its sake) but we still managed to find a few jewels.
Thanks for following and if you have any hot chocolate news you'd like to share, send it over!

Sipping Tip
Next time you have a piece of chocolate (quality chocolate), try eating a piece really fast (chewing) and then let a second piece just melt in your mouth and see how different the flavours are.
